**Reward Policy and Governance - 18 month FTC**

As a Barclays Reward Policy and Governance, you will join our Group Reward Policy and Governance team, supporting the preparation of external remuneration disclosures and ensuring the regulatory compliance. This is a great opportunity for a reward, HR or analytics professional looking for experience in this exciting area, where there will be an excellent exposure to remuneration decision-making in a large-regulated bank.

We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting with the preparation of the Directors’ Remuneration Report, including project management, engaging with stakeholders across the Bank and external designers
- Monitoring market developments and proxy agency guidance around executive remuneration
- Supporting with the preparation of meetings with shareholders and proxy advisers
- Managing relationships with the Sustainability & ESG team and coordinating responses to remuneration-related questions asked by investors and in ESG surveys
- Working with local HR teams, Reward leads and Legal on gender pay gap disclosures across different locations globally, including new gender pay reporting requirements
- Assisting the Reward Policy and Governance team throughout the annual compensation review on different aspects of reporting and analytics
- Interpreting and understanding data, identifying trends and communicating those succinctly
- Preparing and co-ordinating relevant remuneration committee papers

- Comfortable with interpreting data

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience in Reward, wider HR or People Analytics would be ideal but not essential
- Excellent written communication skills would be advantageous

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and it is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
