We are looking for a people-centric individual who thrives on building integral relationships across an organisation at all levels and can provide expert advice within the area of Employee Relations.

This role is a full-time, 12-month contract, hybrid flexible working (2 to 3 days in our head office - Sutton Coldfield) as well as some regional travel.

Based nationally across the UK, with a headcount of 4,000 - 5,000 employees, we are looking for someone who has handled ER cases considerably both regionally and in a medium-large organisation.

Our company is also undergoing an extensive change programmefocused on efficiency and modernisation, we have spent time stripping things back to their core to ensure the foundations are in the right position to build from. Investment is being made into our systems, processes and people and it is an exciting time to get involved in a career-forming transformation programme.

**The Role**

As an Employee Relations Advisor, you’ll be responsible for:

- Ensure the delivery of effective HR, people process and delivery-associated tasks
- Be the first point of contact for supporting and advising line managers when dealing with employee relations issues. Advising on process, legislation and potential areas of risk, supporting through the hiring process as well and being involved in performance & probation reviews
- Support the provision of people data, MI and use analytics & trends to support the business with decision-making and people initiatives
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with the wider People team to develop a consistent approach to talent management
- Meeting regionally with management and wider stakeholders to support throughout our change delivery

**Experience**
- Full UK Driving License - Travel to sites across our branch network will be needed
- At least 2 years of experience working within ER with the ability to demonstrate comprehensive generalist HR knowledge
- Able to produce written material to a high standard eg reports, contracts of employment, policies and procedures
- Understands and can articulate the broader impact that the People function can have on the organisation
- Demonstrates commercial awareness and can support this with appropriate data
