Pensions Manager

Think Accountancy and Finance are working with a multinational business based in Hertfordshire in the recruitment of a Pensions Manager.
The Pensions Manager will provide pension administration services to the company as a whole.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Defined Contribution Pension - ensure accurate information provided
- B&CE People'e Pension communication to teams
- Oversee the intranet page ensuring all Pension information is up to date and accurate
- Primary point of contact for Aegon
- Completion of monthly contribution processing
- Sign-off of monthly contributions for all Pension schemes
- Auto-enrolment compliance
- Provide support to Senior Pensions Manager on Asset Summary process
- Provide adhoc support legacy DB schemes
- Prepare the draft Pension Fund recharge schedule on a quarterly basis
- Support on complex member queries from DB scheme administrators or DC Master Trusts, escalating as appropriate and maintaining documentation
- Support Commercial Teams on Contract negotiations providing advice on TUPE in / out considerations & risks for either DC, Public Sector or ex-Public Sector Pension arrangements
- Ensure Group Life requirements on TUPE are met
- Oversee and authorise the lump sum payments arising from the Death in Service Cases
**Our client is looking for people with:
- Strong knowledge of DC pension and DB pension arrangements (including public sector)
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and timescales
- Comprehensive understanding of auto-enrolment requirements
- Understanding of salary sacrifice arrangements
- Experience of TUPE in / out & associated risks for either DC, Public Sector or ex-Public Sector Pension arrangements
- Project management experience
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
