We’re delighted to be supporting an international business with the recruitment of their Group Accountant to join their UK operation near Chichester with hybrid working options.
This role would suit a Qualified Accountant who offers strong technical reporting and first-class communication skills.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the Group meets all its financial reporting by establishing effective processes and procedures and key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly consolidated management accounts, consolidated budgets and forecasts, including review of Group companies' submissions for a number of entities.
- Enhance reporting of consolidated information as required by management.
- Manage the reporting timetable for actuals, budgets and forecasts, with a view to improving the time taken and quality of reporting.
- Undertake technical review of accounting standards and assess their impact on Group accounting policies and reporting.
- Develop the financial reporting processes.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts for several UK entities, including consolidated statutory accounts of the Group.
- Coordinate the Group audit process and be the primary point of contact with external auditors.
**About you**:
We’re seeking a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) who has experience of Group reporting, statutory accounts production and consolidation. A background working in a in a fast-paced, preferably international, environment is a strong preference asis experience of Forex trading.
Knowledge of production of budgets and forecasts is key and advanced Excel essential.
Character wise, the Group Accountant will have excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a good work ethic and an honest, proactive, confident, and self-motivated approach.
This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join an internal business with mínimal supervision offering a 3-day working week in the office and 2 days working from home arrangement.
