**A bit about the role...**

We are looking for a Commercial Specialist to support the Category Manager for Professional Services in the execution and maintenance of the Agency’s commercial strategy and the implementation and operation of an innovative, cost effective, centrally ledcommercial function. This includes procurement work, particularly those on professional services (including contingent labour) that fall under public procurement legislation.

The primary focus of the Commercial Specialist role is to manage the procurement activity, either by providing advice and guidance, supporting or delivering the procurement (including the procurement and management of Homes England frameworks), supportingthe implementation of contract management best practices and contributing to increasing commercial capability in the business.

**A bit about you...**
As a procurement professional, you will be able to demonstrate more than 3 years of experience in procurement, including the sourcing of complex and high value multi-million contracts. You will have experience of public procurement and understanding of theregulations. You can demonstrate your commercial mindset and how you deliver value for money and great outcomes for your customers.

Experience in procuring contingent labour and professional services in particular - such as technical services for housing development, legal, financial or management services - is highly desirable.

You will have contract and supplier management experience and be able to demonstrate how you drive high performance from service providers and build great relationships with key partners.

Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn’t always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable building relationships across multiple stakeholders and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impactof what we do as a Commercial team. You’ll be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative and inclusive way.

A relevant professional qualification (ACCA, MIIA, CCAB, MCIPS, RICS) is desirable, as is a qualification or specific training or professional experience in disciplines relevant to property, regeneration or housing.
