Our successful client based in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire are seeking a knowledgeable **Fabricator / Welder** to join their busy workshop team on a full time, permanent basis. Your role will involve reading engineering drawings to fabricate bespoke products meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

**THE ROLE**

As a **Fabricator / Welder**, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- MIG welding
- Fabrication (tools will include band-saw, pillar drill, presses, guillotine, grinders and hand tools)
- Reading technical drawings produced in AutoCAD
- Working closely with the Engineering team
- Picking stock, loading goods and using forklift where required
- Ensure Health and Safety measures are adhered to at all times

**CANDIDATE**
- Experience in a similar role
- Certificate in MIG welding
- Understanding and ability to read technical / engineering drawings
- Able to safely use hand tools and band-saw
- Forklift truck licence / certification
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy

A **Fabricator / Welder** will also be a good communicator, able to work well within a team and be reliable. You will be managing a busy workload so must be able to use your own initiative and prioritise within the workplace.
- Flexibility will be required to work overtime and weekends_
