Reporting into a Global HR Director we are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Advisor to join this innovative and solutions-based business.The key purpose of the role will be to provide a first-class service to the group management and group employees onall payroll and benefits matters.

**Here’s what your day-to-day will look like in this role**:

- Monthly process of regular and ad hoc payroll processes for UK and overseas, in the required capacity. Ensure all payrolls are processed accurately and within the required deadlines.
- Liaise closely with overseas payroll administrators and third parties to ensure that all payroll-related information is clear, processed accurately and payment deadlines are met.
- Conduct regular data processing and analysis, including monthly headcount analysis and payroll reconciliations.
- Ensure payroll electronic and hardcopy records are maintained accurately and kept up to date, at all times.
- Provide advice and support to line managers and employees on payroll, new joiner and leaver information, P11d and benefits.
- Conduct year-end payroll and tax/HMRC processes and reporting, to ensure compliance.
- Administer pensions membership and manage the auto-enrolment process.
- Maintain and update all benefits providers of joiners, leavers and individual life cycle changes, e.g. change of address, change to marital status, etc.
- Conduct an annual review of all benefits:

- Provide support regarding special leave payments including parental leave, sickness absence, etc.
- Keep up to date with UK legislative requirements and maintain good communication with administrators and third-party providers overseas to keep up to date with the required legislations.
- Ensure Global HR Director remains informed of changes and updates that may impact payroll or need to be escalated.
- Deputise for Global HR Director, when required.
- Travel within the UK, Europe and worldwide will occasionally be required, sometimes at short notice.

Any other tasks as reasonably required by the Group.

**SKILLS**:

- Experienced processing payroll within a global company
- Experienced processing year-end payroll and tax procedures, including P11d
- Experienced using payroll software/databases
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Self-motivated and collaborative
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with an excellent level of accuracy
- Highly organised
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive approach
- Willingness to work flexibly when required
- Personable
- Some understanding of HR best practices beneficial
