What we are looking for to be considered for this excellent opportunity is minimum of 3 years comprehensive understanding of general commercial insurance gained within a commercial broking environment.
You will be able to handle your own book of business and manage the renewal process from start to finish whilst looking for new opportunities by up-selling/ cross selling.
The jobholder will Prepare and deliver insurer risk presentations and negotiate with providers/underwriters, to secure the most appropriate cover for clients.
You will be expected to be efficient and effective in your handling of a broad range of commercial insurance classes for clients on a daily basis, servicing and developing and maintaining these relationships.
As a proactive Account handler you will be assisting Account Executives in administrative tasks for larger accounts, including the writing of client reports, possessing the ability to read and digest technical information and explain clearly to a client ina pragmatic manner.
- Good technical and administrative knowledge of dealing with claims is required coupled with a high competence of regulatory compliance relating to the day to day handling of commercial business.
Experience of Acturis system desired but not essential
Cert CII or significant progression a distinct advantage
