**Head of Marketing**

dnata Travel Group are currently on the search for a Head of Marketing to join our awesome Marketing team within Travel Republic. This role will be hybrid, based out of our Kingston Upon Thames office.

As the Head of Marketing, you’ll be the oversee the leadership and direction of the Travel Republic Marketing function (Brand Marketing, CRM, SEO and Media Sales & Partnerships), ensuring the delivery and achievement of the agreed profit targets for the Travel Republic brand through the creation, development and execution of marketing strategy and multi-media digital, brand marketing and CRM campaigns.

A strong focus on managing the creative direction, conceptual, visualisation and design activity to produce impactful and integrated brand communications for online, offline, external media, creative, CRM agencies and internal departments.

Work in collaboration with the senior team to input into the overall business strategy, ensuring the marketing department plan is aligned to this and achieves/exceeds sales targets and overall profitability.

Maintain focus on customer retention and acquisition through the quality, cost and range of our products, owning all brand and customer propositions. At all times, ensure marketing partnerships are built and maintained on the foundations of professionalism, high quality service and commercial viability.

Lead, manage, develop and motivate a team of managers and staff to achieve objectives across all distribution channels ensuring constant review of competitor activity and market changes to allow the business stay ahead of our competition.

**About us**:
Dnata Travel Group, part of the Emirates Group, includes the brands of Gold Medal, Netflights, Travelbag, Travel Republic, and Sunmaster. These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland), Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax.

**Strategy**:

- Support the MD Travel Republic, and the business owners dnata Travel Europe, in the design, execution and delivery of growth plans and financial budgets enabling the business to execute overall strategy.
- In conjunction with the MD define and develop ongoing Travel Republic brand strategy, introducing new propositions that constantly evolve and meet current & future market/ customer needs, communicating these to achieve results.
- Create a strategic marketing plan for Travel Republic, in line with brand strategies set by the business owners that will drive cost effective customer acquisition, customer retention and increase consumer brand awareness
- Plan, manage and deliver a year-round marketing programme that will achieve the brand’s commercial and brand metric targets in line with the overall strategy and budgets.

**Execute**:

- Be the guardian of the Travel Republic brand and deliver revenue targets for all marketing campaigns.
- Responsible for the effective management and “smart spending” of the total marketing budget (brand, CRM, SEO, social).
- Devise innovative marketing strategies to drive new customer acquisition and retention.
- Lead the design and implementation of a social media strategy.
- Lead search engine optimisation (SEO) brand execution across the business, in partnership with the SEO Group Lead.
- Lead the CRM strategy, systems and resources for TR with the TR Head of CRM. Lead the development of an effective contact and retention programme that will drive new sales and improve customer retention.
- Use the customer insight gained from analysis of the existing customer base using external segmentation tools (MOSAIC & TGI), to inform the targeting and recruit new customers through acquisition campaigns that will grow the overall base.
- Develop and lead the PR Communications strategy.
- In conjunction with business partners to drive partnership marketing funding for Travel Republic. Work with partners in dnata Travel group to support the seeking and securing of additional marketing contribution funds from suppliers and tourism authorities to enable Travel Republic to undertake joint co-op marketing campaigns.
- Lead the production of the core marketing materials, i.e.: events, promotions, partnerships, press and online advertising.
- Define the development roadmap of in-house marketing software, including PPC bid management and multi-channel attribution technologies.
- Set KPI’s and targets for the team and overall function, oversee the delivery of reports and ROI reporting with complete performance metrics and results analysis.
- Assume full accountability for the marketing P&L managing all revenue and cost streams.

**Leadership**:

- Part of the senior management team of Travel Republic and as such a key influencer
- Leadership and development of the marketing team of c8 people
- Responsibility for ensuring consumer insights are met and addressed in all managed projects.
- Responsible for selection and effective management of all external agencies.
