THE ROLE:
Working as Senior Schemes Underwriter, you will be responsible for an existing portfolio of scheme business as well as being expected to develop and grow the book.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Providing a top class service to broker clients.
- Dealing with referrals and writing more complex business.
- Working closely with the underwriting team and being responsible for growing the schemes business.
- Keeping yourself up to date with changes in to risks and exposures in the market to maintain our client's excellent market reputation.
- Actively involving yourself in supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Demonstrable experience of working in an Underwriting capacity with strong technical commercial knowledge.
- Good analytical ability with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
- Highly personable and an effective communicator, able to work well as part of a collaborative team.
- ACII qualification is desirable, albeit not essential for the role.
