Do you enjoy solving engineering queries?

We have an opportunity for a technical, enthusiastic, and energetic Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitter to join our team, where no two days are the same.

This role offers opportunity to work within a team of highly experienced Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitters in our innovative workshop building a variety of equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Further training is available such as CCNSG, confined space training, and OEM training on components. Progression opportunities within Pump Supply and Repair Group are also available.

**Pump and Rotating Equipment Fitter Job Role**
- Full scope of engineered pump overhaul, including assembly, service, testing, and stripping a wide variety of pumps and associated spares.
- In-house work but occasional site work (knowledge of controls and fault-finding advantageous).
- Flexible working hours may be required at times.
- Compiling required assembly documentation.
- Working as part of a busy fitting and dis-assembly team.

**Benefits**:

- Remuneration range: £26.5k - £31k plus overtime depending on experience and qualifications
- Overtime paid at time and half and double rate

**Essential Skills**:

- Good knowledge of tolerances and working to high standards
- Ability to produce clean driving licence essential

**Desirable Skills**:

- Ideally, knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment in industrial, chemical, power generation, Petro-chemical, and water industries
- Need a can-do approach - flexible working will be required
- Organised - be able to work to agreed time scales
- Clean and presentable appearance
- This can be a physically demanding position with some lifting involved, mainly using mechanical lifting equipment
