Winterwood is looking to recruit an SEN Tutor, to work with students aged 5-11 with a range of complex additional needs.

We are looking for emotionally invested, nurturing tutors who would be willing to work long term (6-18 months) and form a bond with students who have additional educational needs.

You will need to have at least two years' tutoring or teaching experience, along with a minimum of two years SEN experience.

A minimum 2:1 degree from a leading UK university is required, and tutors will need excellent spoken and written English.

Rates of pay are dependent on experience. Tutors who can demonstrate dedicated SEN experience, ideally in a professional setting, will be offered higher hourly rates. The hourly rate offered will be between £42.50 and £97.50 per hour.

At Winterwood we have high standards and are committed to ensuring the families we work with achieve their goals. We carefully match tutors with students, and provide ongoing support for tutors and education consultancy services for families. We will provide training, introductions to families and a scheme of work which will help inform lessons.
