Hays are proud to be working with a world leading Aviation Manufacturing & Service providers looking to recruit an Indirect Buyer to join the business based within the company Headquarters.
This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Procurement professional to integrate and gain exposure within a great business with endless opportunity for growth and development.
**Your new role**
The overall function of the role is to;
- Select, monitor and report on aircraft component repair services from approved suppliers worldwide.
- Manage the business and customer owned property relating to Repair Management maximizing quality and minimizing cost.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times by on time delivery, maintaining and building effective partnerships to support business objectives.

**What you'll need to succeed**:

- Experience gained within an aircraft component, MRO or trading environment is desirable.
- Good administrative skills gained within an office environment.
- Proven ability to provide and deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to travel as and when required
- Desire to learn and develop in depth knowledge and skills within Repair Management Components
- Experience of contract management
- Familiarity and understanding of AMM, CMM, MEL and IPC's
- Good negotiation, organisational and time management skills
- Numerate, accurate with good attention to detail
- Analytical thinker with experience of producing and evaluating reports
- Flexibility in working hours
- Knowledge of Export and Import procedures and controls
- Language skills desirable job
