**Chartered Tax Advisor (Corporate) Guildford**

Our client is an award-winning and entrepreneurial firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors based in the Guildford area of Surrey. They typically work with a wide range of clients across London and the South East including Limited companies, Groupsand Partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities**

The role will allow you as a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) to take responsibility for a portfolio of clients. You will liaise extensively with the Directors of the businesses within your portfolio.

The role includes both compliance work (including a review of others) and some advisory work.

You will also be involved in some interesting projects covering all areas of corporate tax to include Employment Tax, VAT, and remuneration schemes including share option schemes, as well as plenty of scope to identify tax planning opportunities.

**Skills and Experience**

The role would suit an individual coming from a London firm who wants to step out into Surrey, that still wishes to work with some high-level clients. Or perhaps you work more locally but need real Portfolio Management and increased autonomy.

It is envisaged you will have been working for the last two or three years in a Corporate Tax role and have experience of supervising more junior staff. You will certainly be used to Complex Compliance work and will be eager to identify Tax Planning opportunitiesand work with a real degree of autonomy as you manage your own portfolio.
