Butler Ross are recruiting on behalf of a major utility company, for an interim Construction Category Manager on an initial 6-month assignment (extensions likely). The position operates on flexible-hybrid working basis, with their office based in the WestMidlands.

This is a great opportunity to join their Cables and Tunnels Construction Procurement Team for HVET (High Voltage Electricity Transmission). You will be managing end-to-end procurement, tendering and awarding of high-complexity tender events, ranging from£5-300million.

**Essential Experience**:

- Developing and awarding robust fit for purpose contractual agreements (NEC3/NEC4)
- Experience running OJEU compliant procurement processes (Public Contracts Regulations - PCR2015/ Utilities Contracts Regulations - UCR 2016).

**Desirable Experience**:

- Managing major project / construction procurement tendering events
- Managing high value, high complexity tendering events

This position would suit an experienced Procurement Manager, Category Manager, Purchasing Manager or Commodity Manager, especially those from an engineering, construction, infrastructure, or utilities background.
