Global Insurance Corporation seeks an Information Security Manager / Security Incident Response Manager to manage incidents and problems that impact IT availability through guidance of IT operations teams (Infrastructure, Network, Application, Service Delivery)and senior business stakeholders.
Primarily you will be responsible for responding to Information Security Incidents by managing a team of 5 - 6 analysts who will take the lead on assessing and managing incidents. This may involve what needs to be reported to senior technical and business management(CTO, COO etc). You will also be responsible for advising the business on what regulatory reporting would also be required in the case of an incident.
Managing the Detection and Response team will mean that you oversee the management of different severity incidents, Identify and respond to security events and liaise with technical teams to identify where major issues exist and work towards resolution. Youwill also be involved with assessing, selecting and managing various 3rd party security vendors whom you will engage to bolster the security resources within the team.
We are searching for an Information Security Manager / Security Incident Response Manager / CyberSec or InfoSec Consultant who has led small teams of security incident analysts and is used to dealing with cyber security incidents within a corporate environment.You will be an experienced line manager with security project management experience. You will possess strong analytical skills; excellent communication skills are pre-requisite.
