An exciting new opportunity Lanes Group Plc has a vacancy for a Trainee Gangers within its Clean Water Division.

The role is initially based within the Guilford area on a Mon-Friday 50hr contract

The main duties of this role is to facilitate Lanes Group Plc’s aspiration for the delivery of our “Right 1st Time” ethos and to embrace our safety culture in everything we do.

To do this our trainees will need to have an eye for detail and ideally have some or all of the following attributes and qualifications
- A current Unit 2 and Unit 10 NRSWA certificate
- EUSR Water hygiene card
- A working knowledge of traffic management
- Experience in mains laying is preferred but full training will be given
- Prior experience working in a field based Utilities environment, preferably in the Clean Water area.
- Competent in the use of Sonde and Trace equipment as well as the ability to conduct detailed Utilities surveys on each site
- Excellent customer facing skills
- A team player will to get involved in multiple aspects of our business.
- A positive approach to finding solutions and committed to deliver the best possible service.
- The ability to use field based IT to record surveys and liaise with the planning to ensure all necessary information is captured.
- Full driving licence
- The ability to use hand tools and pneumatic breakers
