We are currently looking for an experienced, hardworking, caring, compassionate Childrens Senior Support Worker to join our small and friendly Childrens Residential team, based in Fareham.

We create a homely environment where children will feel safe, secure and nurtured in their critical formative years, enabling them to build resilience and develop into adults who are not disadvantaged by their history.

- Our ideal Senior Support Worker will:

- Work as a team player.
- Be able to demonstrate initiative as appropriate.
- Possess empathetic, respectful, and positive personal characteristics.

- Show flexibility where required.
- Be able to recognise and identify problems and take appropriate action.

- Demonstrate the ability to deal with service users physical, medical, emotional, and behavioural needs as well as provide individual support as appropriate.

**Requirements of the Role: **
- NVQ 3 (or above) in Children and Young people or similar Qualification (Essential)
- The key attributes and resilience for working with children with a Learning disability (LD) as well as managing challenging behaviour they may present.
- Understand the importance of providing a stable environment for children
- Experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Diligent, enthusiastic, and passionate
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
