**Production Supervisor**

Hallmark Manufacturing are sheet metal and fabrication specialist based in Stoke-on-Trent. We are market leaders in quality precision fabrications and sheet metal work.

Due to continued growth, we have an opening for an enthusiastic and ambitious **Production Supervisor** to join our expanding team on **days**.

The Production Supervisor will be accountable to effectively structure production while maintaining stock levels. You will also be responsible for the following:

- The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the production team to ensure quality and productivity goals are met. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for managing the production schedule and assigning production tasks to their team. The Production Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times.

**Essential Functions**:

- Supervise the production team to ensure quality and productivity goals are met
- Set weekly production quotas and track daily progress with weekly reports
- Responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any major repairs or replacements to the supervisor
- Ensure that the safety of the production team is maintained by following policies, procedures, and standards
- Report any health or safety concerns immediately, and take appropriate action
- Communicate with the Production Director to ensure that production goals are being achieved
- Communicate any concerns to the supervisor immediately
- Ensure that all production tasks are being performed according to standard operating procedures
- Train new employees on how to perform specific tasks
- Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
- Arrange for employee attendance and punctuality
- Ensure that all employees are following standard operating procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:
5+ years of production experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment and ability to manage a busy production environment.

To succeed in this role it is essential that you are a strong team player and can deliver the required customer quality standards which they deserve and expect. You must be computer literate and ideally have good ability in using ERP software.

This role is paying a salary of up to **£30,000pa** and is a **4 day week**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
