Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health Services (LiSH) currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced clinician to join our Countywide service as a Senior Sexual Health Practitioner.

LiSH clinics provide a range of specialist genitourinary and contraceptive health services.

Clinical sessions for this post will include 3 long days 8am -8pm covering Gainsborough/Countywide as well as Lincoln when required.

LCHS supports countywide travel time and expenses for practitioners moving between clinics from their designated base and this will be discussed in further detail at interview.

We are looking for an individual who can evidence both leadership and clinical skills. This position is multi clinic based and requires the post holder to be flexible and travel to meet the needs of the service in this supervisory role.

As a senior practitioner you will undertake mentorship, present at both in-house and external educational events and support staff development and service innovation. There will be an expectation to undertake more complex case responsibilities by managing assessments, treatments and results, as well as referrals from outside agencies and stakeholders.

Ability to travel and support clinics across bases is essential, whether car driver or access to reliable public transport.

LiSH clinics are currently open 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am -5pm on Friday.

Support B5 nurses, medical and nursing students, trainee GP's.

Provide clinical supervision, 1:1's, appraisals, Link nurse role.

Contribute to teaching sessions and provide health promotion activity.

Take part in audit and incident investigations.

Qualified practitioners will provide telephone and face to face contact, physical examinations, treatments, LARC, microscopy, cryotherapy, results management, contact tracing, referral management, triage services.

Supporting patients through their journey using sexual health services.
