The HR Advisor will be responsible for People/HR matters for a specified stakeholder group. The Human Resources Advisor will work with all levels of the organisation to provide a comprehensive HR service, working in a small dedicated HR team. Your**duties will include**:
- Manage discipline, grievance and routine employee relations situations as appropriate i.e. preparing documentation, undertaking investigation meetings, providing advice and guidance to management
- Advise line managers in relation to sickness absence
- Supporting with Occupational Health referrals and preparation of documentation
- Provide advice regarding performance management matters and where appropriate manage the process
- Manage all flexible/agile working requests, providing advice to both employees and people managers accordingly, whilst considering the needs of the business
- Actively participating, contributing and progressing HR projects and initiatives
- Assist with the annual salary review process
- Supporting the HR Team with the management of the HR database, by running ad hoc/recurring reports, data inputting and updates, identify and resolve system or data issues
- Management of the full recruitment process
- Assisting with the biannual appraisal process and any HR matters arising as a result
This role would suit an experienced HR Advisor/Officer with proven employee relations exposure.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of three years’ experience working in a HR Advisor/Officer role
- Proven experience of managing employee relation matters
- A good understanding of employment law, best practice and the interpretation of policy
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, and ideally CIPD qualified
- Team player - accustomed to working in a team but taking responsibility for own work and proactively working with others in HR and throughout the business
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages and HR systems experience.
- Occasional Travel to London
**Benefits Include**:
Annual salary review. Hybrid working, 50% at home 50% in the office. There will be 25 days holiday pa. In addition, other benefits will be available after a suitable qualifying period: a contributory pension scheme, free private medical care; free permanenthealth insurance and free life cover.
