We are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to support a national policing team with the delivery of its change management programme of work.

**Job Purpose**:
The supplier of the Senior Project Manager role is to deliver projects that span across one or more Towers and 3rd party suppliers. Managing resources, schedules, and financials and adhering to stage gate quality checkpoints throughout life cycle of theproject(s). This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Senior Project Manager has the authority to monitor the project as per the agreed project plan. Verify that the projectproduces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Manage the complex project that span one or multiple Towers and 3rd party suppliers
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving, demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
- Prepare detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues
- Understand interdependencies between projects
- Manage project scope and changes
- Monitor ongoing quality control and advise in quality issue resolution
- Where applicable define and agree success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project(s)

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
- 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and / or Senior Leadership
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple areas in order to achieve a common business objective

This is a temporary role for an initial 6 months, working full-time paying up to £550 per day (outside IR35).
