BTG is partnering with an acquisitive group that has a combined turnover of over a billion pound and is one of the market-leading companies in retail.
They are looking for a property accountant to take ownership of the management accounts and financial accounts for a number of their sites.
This role is the perfect stepping for someone who is a management accountant seeking a role with a step up in responsibilities, they can offer you a chance to lead a team and progression to become a finance manager.
The Role
- Production and Review of Statutory Accounts
- Production of Budgets and Forecasts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Oversee the migration to a new accounting system
- Leading team of 2
- Ownership/presentation of monthly finance reports to direct line manager, and senior finance as required
- Build relationships with relevant departments and third parties to ensure all data is processed correctly
- Support group & statutory audits for relevant entities
