Overview:
- Full time, 36 hrs per week
- Monday - Friday
- Temporary 4-month contract - with the possibility of extension
- Hourly rate - £11.28 per hour
- Location - Slough County Court
- Start Date: ASAP
- Typing up court orders made by Judges on our internal computer systems.
- Issuing new court process and accounting for court fees
- Incoming telephone calls from customers, including bailiff enforcement calls to debtors. Taking payments for court judgements over the telephone.
- Sitting in Courtrooms with Judges as a Judges Clerk - noting which parties attend the court and informing the judge, operating recording equipment in the courtroom.
Typical qualifications and experience:
- 5 GCSE's at grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
- NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
- Good communication skills, both oral and written
