The purpose of this role is to assist with and improve, the depth and frequency of the monitoring of the of approximately 170 non-investment grade corporate loans that are in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Leveraged Debt Capital Markets (LDCM).

You will be enthusiastic, be driven and determination, and a proactive approach, you will contribute as new tasks are added to the Analytics team, such as the monitoring of financial covenants, and as the existing format of the Ongoing Credit Review (OCR) is enhanced.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Instrumental in constructing and updating profiles for each of the corporates that the LDCM Loan Portfolio has exposure to. The profiles will be based on a thorough understanding of the company, the capital structure and financial performance. Each profile will be complemented by an excel model for the corporate
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining each of the excel models so that a standardised output is delivered that demonstrates how the actual performance compares with the performance that was originally anticipated
- Examine and comment on why deviations to expected performance occur rather than simply recording the deviations
- Contribute to discussions concerning the appropriate assumptions to be used in the respective models
- You will have contact primarily with the Leveraged Loan Portfolio. There will also be contact with both junior and senior members of the Credit and LDCM teams

**Your skills and experience**
- Proven and demonstrable working experience in 3-statement financial modelling, metrics and analysis and good working experience in the analysis, metrics, and interpretation of three-statement financial statements (of both listed and unlisted firms)
- Good understanding of and working experience in Accounting concepts (especially Lease accounting) and its applicability to the above
- Good understanding of and working experience in capital structure modelling, metrics, interpretation, and analysis
- Demonstrable and good working experience in valuation methodologies
- Familiarity with corporate loan documentation would be desirable
