An exciting opportunity is available for a Customer Sales and Service Team Leader to join a well-established company based in Totton that are a leading provider of community equipment to the NHS and private clients.

This is a temp to perm role working Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 with a half hour lunch break and a salary between £23,000 and £25,000 depending on experience.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the Customer Service team monitoring and ensuring total compliance with sales process and managing the after sales process.

Main Duties:

- Manage the Administration team and Customer Service Coordinators including appraisals, check ins, holidays and sickness etc
- Interview and recruit new staff
- Provide on the job training with the customer service team
- Manage the team so that a comprehensive after sales service is provided - undertake follow up calls to customers following receipt of orders to verify order and delivery date
- Prepare customer quotes if required
- Liaise with credit control and deal with invoice queries
- Liaise with internal depts. To complete the sales process
- Liaise with technical support for customer orders and queries regarding spare parts
- Update and manage the customer database
- Make outbound and follow up calls to existing customers
- Deal directly with difficult customer queries that staff are unable to deal with ideally resulting in a win/win outcome for both customer and company
- Background in call centre/customer service/after sales support is preferred
- Organised and can work to a plan
- Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office and databases
