**The Company**

A leading retail business based in South Yorkshire, has immediate requirements for a Senior PHP Developer with full-stack experience.

As a business, they are firmly established and trusted within the B2C market with over 20 years' industry experience. As a business they have seen substantial growth over the last 12 months achieving a record 20% growth in company turnover.

**The role**

As a result of this rapid expansion, my client has immediate requirements for a senior developer to work on their in-house platform and ecommerce website.

You will have at least 5 years commercial experience at mid to senior level and will play a key part in the design and development of new solutions and high-quality software across the business.

**The Person**
- 5 years commercial experience in PHP development (ideally 7 or 8) including object orientated and systems architecture
- Some experience of PHP frameworks preferred
- An ability to create Web APIs
- Good understanding of database systems (MySQL, Reddis)
- Some understanding of Linux / Docker and DevOps principles (desirable)
- An understanding of optimizing code for performance and scalability
- Willingness to learn new technology and undertake relevant training and development
- Working knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodologies
