_Senior support worker/Key Worker_
Independence Way is a semi-independent accommodation provider and bespoke support for 16 to 21-year-olds. We are seeking Support Workers/Key workers to join our friendly team working within semi-independent accommodations. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THE JOB LOCATIONS ARE IN AND AROUND GUILDFORD, SURREY.**

**Who we are looking for**:

- A calm, adaptable and enthusiastic person
- Someone who can support our young people gain vital skills such as cooking, house-keeping, shopping, budgeting, arranging appointments, etc
- Someone with the ability to work both alone and as part of a team with young people
- An organised individual with good administration skills who can also can write **good** **reports**
- Someone with the ability to safeguard our young people and knows when and how to raise concerns
- Ability to take deliberate initiatives to develop appropriate relationships with young people, some of who may present with challenging behaviours, so as to understand their needs and feelings and respond to them accordingly
- Ability to build positive relationships with external agencies and stake-holders including social services, education providers, YOTs, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
