**Highways General Operative - South Molton**
Our clients are looking for a General Operative in the South Molton area. As a General Operative you need to work well in a team, be self-motivated and have good communication skills. A flexible attitude is required as you will be required to undertake nightwork from time to time.
Previous experience of working on the highway is desirable as you will be required to undertake various labouring duties including excavation works, laying and levelling of kerbs, slabs and bitumen macadam, drainage and gully installations.
In addition you have to work in all weathers and unsociable hours occasionally and be available for out-of-hours emergency call outs if required
As a Highways General Operative you will be required to have the following:
- Clean UK driving licence
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- CSCS
- Traffic Management qualification
- NRSWA
- LGV/HGV driving licence
**Pay Rate & Hours**:
The pay rate is between £10.50 - £11.28 depending upon experience. This is for a 40 hour week Monday to Friday, with time and a half after 8 hours daily, time and a half on Saturday and double time on Sunday and Bank Holidays.
This is temporary role but could become permanent.
