An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Strategic Procurement Team for a position as Brokerage Finance Assistant sitting within the brokerage function.

You will take specific responsibility for validating and processing children’s care and support invoices and payments and for administering provider details on social care case management/ finance systems for Adults and Children.

You will need to liaise with internal services and our external providers to validate invoices and system-based payments to ensure accuracy before payment is processed and is in line with contractual arrangements/ frameworks.

You will work in a highly motivated team, and you are required to ensure that all customers both internal and external, receive a consistently high-quality level of service, commensurate to the standards required by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.

Applicants should have high personal standards of self-discipline, be enthusiastic and able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

This post has been identified as suitable for flexible working which enables the postholder to work a percentage of their working time away from the office.
