**Grounds Maintenance Supervisor**

Alecto Recruitment is working on a unique opportunity for a Senior Groundskeeper / Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is an established contractor / developer who is looking to appoint a Site Based Groundskeeper in a key supervisory position.

**The Role**:

- Predominantly based 80% of the time out of a High-End Residential site situated near Droxford, Hampshire
- The position can also cover other sites under the business portfolio which would be in surrounding areas
- The position is to ensure the general up-keep and maintenance of the grounds and property.

**The position will include (but not limited to)**:

- Clearing rubbish, weeds, brush and debris on the property's grounds.
- Cleaning entrances
- Watering all flowers and plants on the grounds
- Weeding, trimming, and mulching plants using gardening tools
- Cleaning the company's grounds by removing rubbish and litter daily
- Taking care of all groundskeeping supplies, tools and inventory
- Ensuring the grounds are clean, safe and usable by guest and visitors
- Removing dirt on sidewalks pavements and driveways
- Taking on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary
- Taking on any internal decorating responsibilities as deemed necessary by the owner.

**Requirements of the role**:

- We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual
- You will be self-disciplined and motivated
- Have excellent general Gardening, Groundskeeping skills, along with other skills such as building work and some groundwork experience
- Some Mechanical skills would be an advantage as the position will entail looking after some of the machinery and small tools on-site
- Ideally hold a 7.5 Tonne Tipper Licence
- Some management experience as the role will entail supervising a small team
