Octavius are recruiting for a Supervisor for Geotechnical projects on our Rail framework, covering the Wessex region (Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire).

**You'll be working on. (what your role and responsibility is)**
- You will be a working supervisor to ensure the teams work in a safe, profitable, planned manner to achieve the programme and deliver a quality product and service.
- The role will cover delivery of multi-discipline projects across the Southern region.
- You will be supervising projects from start to finish and carrying out safety and quality audits.
- You will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships.
- Promote and protect the Octavius Infrastructure reputation whilst remaining customer focused and in line with Company policies and values.
- Leadby example, engendering the collaborative culture throughout the site team, including suppliers and customers, ensuring that everyone works towards our common vision of a vibrant delivery mechanism that delivers on promises, chosen by customers and has safety at its core.
- Be responsible for safety first culture onsite.

A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as Network Rail and Transport For London.

**About you. (what you are skilled at)**
- You will be capable of scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives and supervision of sub-contractor work packages to support the delivery of wider projects, while being commercially aware and maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, social, environmental control.
- You will work closely with site managers, engineers and surveyors to ensure that work packages are completed in a safe manner whilst customer requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded.
- Highly organised, with excellent planning and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/projects without compromising on safety, standards and quality
- Highly motivated, results-oriented with a positive outlook
- Safety first mindset, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks including those associated with working within the railway environment
- Technically savvy, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Problem solver with the ability to both challenge designs and produce/explain accurate plans and drawings

**You'll bring(your wealth of experience & qualifications)**
- Applicants will need to have a buildings or civils background and have a good understanding of all elements within the various trades.
- You will need to demonstrate in past experience that you are able to supervise multi-discipline projects within a railway environment
- You will be required to travel between the sites across Southern, therefore a full driving license is essential.
- PTS (Minimum) / COSS (desirable)
- SSSTS (Minimum) / SMSTS (desirable)
- CSCS (Minimum)
- CAT & Genny 4 (Minimum)
- Abrasive Wheels (Minimum)
- First Aid (Minimum)
- NVQ Level 3 /HNC (desirable)
