**Position Overview: General Assistant**

This is a dual-purpose role assisting the Warehouse Manager with operations, including stores, stock, and administration cover, and support the Fleet Manager with administration, maintenance, and general fleet management.

We are committed to recognising and rewarding excellence in our team.

**Working Hours**:
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Warehouse**:

- Unloading, loading, and processing of products within the warehouse in a safe working manner
- Allocation of warehouse product / maximising use of space in co-ordination with Warehouse
- Ensure all relevant paperwork and electronic data is filled in accurately
- Conduct stock checks as and when necessary, deliver more stock when required and assist in the investigation process
- Ensure all working areas are kept clean and safe
- Ensure Forklift maintenance check sheets are completed daily, and any faults reported to the manager via the correct procedure
- Ensure the workplace is always well maintained, clean, and in line with Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Ensure waste is correctly and sustainably disposed of
- Build great working relationships with all staff

**Fleet**:

- Delivering and collecting items to and from suppliers
- Building and maintaining work vehicles
- Check oil and water on vehicles prior to them going out
- Ensure all vans have items needed before going to site
- Ensure all items on the vans are logged
- Assist in the booking in of vehicles for repairs
- Ensure spare machines are in good condition and available to go to site
- Maintain the jet wash

**Required**:

- Forklift truck license
- Full driver’s license
- 21+ years old (essential for business insurance cover)
- Warehouse experience (preferrable)
- Driving experience (preferrable)
- Able to safely carry out the physical requirements of the position, such as lifting, shifting, and manual handling
- Good organisation skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Self-motivated
- Attention to detail
- Tidy and organised worker
- Demonstrates the values and behaviours expected from the Company
- Contributes towards a professional, ambitious, high-performance culture
