**Senior Software Engineer**

**From £450 - £ 550 p/d - inside IR35**

**Hybrid - Manchester**

**4-month contract**

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our government client. The location is hybrid, based between 2 days a week on site in Manchester and the remainder working remotely.

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

**Role Profile/Responsibilities**:

- Lead a small team of developers in developing internal-use native apps and their back-end services
- Previous experience of working for a government department
- Able to lead and mentor both front-end and back-end developers
- Familiar with WorkspaceONE/AirWatch
- Familiar with Certificate Based Authentication
- Familiar with integration with ADFS for SAML IdP
- Must be able to develop REST APIs using NodeJS
- Must be able to develop using test driven development
- Must be able to develop against an API first architecture
- Use strict content security policies and guard against common OWASP attacks
- Must be able to use Git
- Familiar with using XCode 13.0
- Familiar with setting up and configuring a CI/CD pipeline such as GitLab
- Familiar with consuming REST APIs
- Experience with consuming AppConfig (Managed Application Configuration)
- Familiar with tools such as Fast Lane and Test Flight to deliver apps
