Do you have an interest in Building Maintenance and Compliance? The Housing Service is looking for a highly motivated positive individual who is seeking a real opportunity to make a difference and drive improvements in compliance and servicing for all the Housing maintenance Contracts.

**About the role**

As the Compliance and Servicing Officer you will be responsible for monitoring and enforcement, ensuring that a portfolio of contracts stay compliant and meet all legal and statutory regulations including but not limited to Gas, oil LPG ASHP, Safety, Electrical, Asbestos, Water regulations. You will also manage void property works ensuring they meet the Decent Homes Standard. Keep up to date with legislation changes and amendments. liaise with all stakeholders and customers. You will have experience in all Housing tenancy legislation and a good working knowledge of housing building maintenance, both reactive and planned preventative.

**About You**

You will need to have prior knowledge and experience in a contracts-related field, preferably in Housing construction/surveying, and have experience of managing contractors’ performance. You will need to gather and interpret data and information, producing reports and monitoring information, attend contract meetings and have the communications skills to engage with contractors, in-house surveyors and contract officers, and management.
