**Role definition**

Job title: Key Operative

Reports to: Operations Director

Division: Operations Office: Field Based

**Summary**

To carry out tasks set by the site manager to a high and safe standard. Assisting skilled tradespeople with every aspect of the building process and being involved with projects from start to finish. Following all health and safety procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparing Construction Sites, tools and materials where necessary
- Assisting with transport, loading and unloading of building materials, equipment and tools
- Cleaning and tidying construction site, removing debris, unused materials
- Erecting and dismantling ramps and scaffolding
- Demolishing structures based on health and safety regulations
- Operating construction equipment
- Assist contractors and tradesmen such as carpenters, bricklayers, masons, electricians and plumbers
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Being involved in projects from start to finish
- Working outdoors in all weathers
- Anything else required by the site manager or directors of the business

**Qualifications and training**
- 5-10 years minimum experience in similar role
- SMSTS or SSSTS desirable
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Asbestos Awareness

- Ability to learn new digital systems (Microsoft Dynamics)

- General understanding of health and safety issues

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: On the road
