Production Planner required for a well established global manufacturer who supply to a wide range of industries. They are a growing business and boast a great reputation in their market. They offer a great team environment and ongoing professional developmentopportunities.
The role would suit production planners from ANY manufacturing background. Applicants will ideally have previous SAP experience. As a minimum you must be able to interpret technical drawings and have a working knowledge of BOMs. Production Planners transferringfrom a heavier manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage.
You will ultimately be responsible for production planning and essentially manage the movement/manufacture of the products through a heavy engineering production facility OTIF and to a high quality standard. Most products have a 2-3 month lead time frompoint of enquiry to installation. You will be involved in the whole process from liaising with the sales team to creating export documentation and liaising with the freight forwarder. Throughout the process you will monitor, create/control routings and implementECOs (Engineering Change Orders) when required. You will be charged with creating BOMS and Production Orders as required. You will maintain part routings and Material Master MRP data.

The Production Planner Role:
*Production Planning and managing the movement/manufacture of products through a heavy engineering production facility OTIF and to a high quality standard
*Involvement with the whole lifecycle from point of sale to dispatch/export of goods
*Monitoring, creating and controlling routings
*Implementing ECOs and reattaching BOMs
*Maintaining Master Material MRP data
*Review and closing of production orders
*Monday to Friday. DAYS BASED ROLE
The Production Planner:
*Must transfer from a production planning role
*Must have experience in manufacturing
*Must be able to interpret technical drawings and have a working knowledge of BOMs
*Applicants will ideally have experience of SAP
