Technical Lead Delivery Consultant

**Technical Lead Consultant / Client Technical Lead / Technology Delivery Consultant / Work From Home / Problem Solving / ITIL / up to £75,000 + excellent package / immediate start / Azure**

You will work closely with a select set of customers in the delivery of technical support services. The role will require the you to gain an in-depth understanding of the Client's technical environments to plan and to be proactive in your approach to managingthe service.

As important as having well rounded technical skills and experience, is the ability to build working relationships with both Clients and colleagues, in turn supporting the company's commitment to achieving high standards of client satisfaction and servicequality.

Customer service is key, the role requires a highly motivated self-starter, who enjoys constant challenges and problem solving. Travel to client sites will be required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with the Service Delivery Manager and Client Director on strategic clients to provide the necessary technical oversight to solutions
- Working with the strategic clients to jointly agree a technical roadmap
- Communicating with different technical teams to ensure continuity across all platforms in the overall client agenda
- Work closely with the IBMi, Storage and Network teams to ensure contractual obligations are met, roadmaps developed, which are aligned with the Client's business needs.
- Work closely with the Client and internal stakeholders to plan and ensure successful delivery of technical changes as required by the Client.
- Works closely with the service delivery manager for the account, to ensure a consistent approach to client satisfaction and enable growth of business
- On occasion, provide out of hours cover as required to deal with Client's Priority 1 incidents or other planned out of hours work (e.g., DR Tests). keep the client informed as necessary and complete any scheduled changes for clients.
- Use your experience and expertise to support the IT Delivery team and beyond your own function where appropriate.
- Understand and document the interoperability between the hosted infrastructure and the customer's technology stack, identifying and working to mitigate risks where necessary.
- Ensure that scheduled changes are organised effectively and deployed in a timely manner directing the resources in a way that helps to achieve this.

To be considered for this exciting, highly consultative and technical position, you will have a track record of delivering success in a similar role within an IT or professional services business.

You will also have:

- In-depth knowledge and operational understanding of the following technologies, IBMi Power Systems, IBM Flash Storage and Storage Replication in Data Centre hosted environment
- Desirable experience in Networking concepts and architectures, VMware, general security principles and public cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure.
- Shows a strong interest in the technologies the Company uses and continually develops knowledge of those and new ones for the benefit of the business and its clients.
- Significant experience of Incident, Problem and Change Management from an operational perspective.
- Is client and solution focused and is prepared to go the extra mile to resolve client issues to their satisfaction without compromising the viability of the contract.
- Has the ability to listen effectively, to diagnose a client's problem and find an appropriate solution.
- Capable of being highly responsive were required, has a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to follow through.
