A housing association in Hertfordshire, currently require a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. As part of the Business Transformation Team the Project Manager is pivotal to successfully managing the scoping, planning and delivery of projectsto maximise its resources, systems and people. Projects will likely include a combination of large strategic projects and smaller one-off business as usual improvement projects.

You will be responsible for;
- Implement the agreed project life-cycle governance approach, whilst always showing a commitment to contribute to continual improvement in the process.
- Ensure that all approved projects are initiated efficiently and project teams are representative of all required business areas.
- Work with and ensure the quality of work and output from colleagues is as expected e.g. business analyst, data analyst, departmental SME's etc.
- Ensuring project critical success factors risks, issues and dependencies are recorded, monitored and proactively managed as required.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality - importantly within scope, within cost and within timeframe. In the process supporting the organisations internal Quality Assurance programme
- Ensure that all projects take consideration of all necessary compliance requirements and industry standards where applicable.
- Be energetic in approach and be able to resolve blockages that may occur through effective stakeholder engagement and consensus achievement.
- To ensure that all relevant project meetings and updates are implemented and/or provided to the Programme Lead, to allow Project Boards and Steering Groups to be fully informed i.e. ensuring that senior stakeholders are confident that projects are progressingas required.
- Ensure that areas such as user acceptance testing, training and onboarding are including as a key considerations for all relevant projects before deployment.
- Be mindful of the strategic objectives of the organisation at large to help guide projects in the right direction where required.
- Work with the AD of Digital Transformation to conduct post-project reviews to assess delivery against stated business case objectives and also identify lessons learned in project approach to ensure that good practice is implemented.
- Work with the wider business to ensure that project progress is full communicated with and engaged with to the wider business.
- Previous experience as a business change project manager
- Ability to easily engage with a variety of people from all across the business
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management techniques and processes.
- Knowledge of the social housing sector and generic business processes is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Advanced skills in use of IT software including Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of modern and developing technology.
- An ability to learn and assimilate new information quickly, with mínimal support and guidance. Ability to create and maintain project documentation including requirements documentation and process models.
- An ability to lead and promote transformation.
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work to strict deadlines and able to carefully plan their work whilst adhering and promoting best practice.
- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Qualified to degree level in an appropriate discipline.
- Have some level of formal Project Management Practitioner qualification or similar e.g. Prince2
- Know how to engage and enthuse your colleagues.

**Benefits**
- Salary of £55,000 per year
- Annual Leave - 25 days per year increasing by one day per completed holiday year to 30 days maximum
