**Job Description**:
Job Title: Laser setter / operator
Location: Alcester B49
Hours: Mon - Thu: 07:30 - 16:30
Fri: 07:30 - 12:30
Pay rate: £12.74 - £13.31
Contract type: Permanent

The requirements for a Laser cutting production operative will be:

- Complete laser cutting operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
- Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process.
- Willing to learn and work unsupervised
- Confident and effectively work individually and part of a team
- Ability to read and understand CNC code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
- Use and control of Lasers in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Good attendance and timekeeping history

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete all work booking requirements within the MRP system to ensure accurate WIP records.
- Follow work handling and storage instructions to prevent damage to components.
- Comply with all company procedures and policies.
- Ensure that work areas are tidy, cleaned and maintained in accordance with 5S requirements.
- Comply with all company Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and report any concerns to supervision.
