They are looking to recruit a conscientious and enthusiastic Gas Supervisor to help oversee the Coventry team looking after their social housing clients in Coventry, North Warwickshire and Black Country areas.

Along with the rest of the management team you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of engineers to ensure quality delivery of gas servicing and maintenance works. Must have a professional attitude and keen desire for future development of the business, creating an environment which encourages employee development, good employee relations, teambuilding, and quality standards.

Role would suit an experienced engineer looking to make the step into management or someone experienced looking to join a supportive and long-standing team who are dedicated to excellent service delivery.

Duties include:

- Day to day management of the install team including recruitment, training & mentoring, performance management, absence management
- Point of contract for engineers over problems and issues on site
- First escalation point for tenant issues and complaints
- Rectifying issues with surveys and carrying out surveys when required
- Liaising with admin team over planning and materials
- Ordering materials and liaising with suppliers over materials and deliveries
- Building and maintaining excellent client relationships including sending surveys, day-to-day contact resolving any problems or concerns, technical advice and customer care.
- Providing technical support to engineers and office
- Attending client meetings
- Both WIP and post-inspection of jobs including handover of completed jobs
- Any other duties commensurate with the role
- Job costing and sending referrals to clients

Knowledge & Skill:

- Applicants must have relevant gas industry qualifications and demonstrate a good knowledge of gas and safety legislation.
- Full Driving License
- Gas Qualifications
