Reed is working alongside an innovative education provider specialising in the medical sector to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a part time basis. The organisations training programme focuses on both disease management and service transformation, theirmain clients are the NHS and pharmaceutical companies.
This isn't just any company you will be working in a casual, modern feeling office - kitted out with Apple computers, minifridge with soft drinks and funky artwork. Located in Hillsborough, the office is easily accessible and includes free parking. You willbe invited to attend company events and team nights out too
**Benefits package**:
- Part time hours (16 hours) with possibility for more hours if requested
- Working hours between 09:00 - 16:30 (flexible on days/hours split)
- Fixed term contract with the possibility to go permanent afterwards
- Private health insurance with Westfield Health (on completion of 6 months’ probation period)
**Reporting to: Managing Director**
**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting the Managing Director in supporting and producing accounts to meet NA objectives.
- Raising and responding to Invoices and Purchase Orders.
- Using Sage accounting software to process payments.
- Developing quarterly and annual company financial reports.
- Carrying out routine accounting tasks such as managing the purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, raising invoices, and tracking payments.
- Tracking sponsorship payments and invoicing at appropriate times
- Other general administrative duties to support the office.
- Responsible for the smooth running of all financial aspects
- Liaison with MasterClass programmes and preparing the related documents.
- Processing expenses.
- Liaising with the NA Team to ensure coordination and support as appropriate.
- Prioritising conflicting needs and handling matters expeditiously and proactively.
- Following-up on account projects to successful completion, observing required deadlines.
- Performing all other tasks and assignments entrusted to them by the Managing Director.
- A minimum 1-year experience within Accounts.
- An independent self-starter, with excellent organisational skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Proficiency in English, knowledge of other European languages would be an asset.
- Knowledge and experience using of sage 50.
- Flexible attitude.
- Problem-solver: resourceful, result-oriented, and proactive.
- Ability to work in a varied environment.
- Willing to take on extra learning to broaden knowledge and understanding where appropriate
