**About the Job**
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Design Manager to lead and support members within the solution team and be accountable for the delivery of solid sustainable business solutions. Our team are accountable for the delivery of solutions designs for existing customers, new business, and consultancy, and you will manage large projects - being accountable during implementation phase to ensure a level of 'gate keeping' of the solution design and will evaluate impact of change requests with the project manager. You will actively work with the cross-functional SMEs and wider stakeholders, internally and externally, and ensure that the Ops teams are engaged throughout and bought in to Operational Solutions up to and including Sign off.
**As part of your key responsibilities you'll**:
- Be accountable for delivery of solutions from receipt of tender documents to the point of hand over to BAU operations.
- Be confident in managing large scale solution projects and managing delegation of roles to ensure solid solutions.
- Ensure knowledge and confidence in business requirement documentation for input into WMS build.
- Continuously research latest trends and developments within the automation realm
- Be accountable for contact with SMEs to pull together one single solution definition document.
- Provide all the required information to the finance team to enable a full cost model output.
- Provide the necessary input during the process for the support of the tender creation.
- Active member of the Solutions Team, providing appropriate input, support, and challenge
- Coach and manage members of the solution team to ensure high performance.
- Actively work with the cross-functional SMEs and wider stakeholders, internally and externally
- Chair and facilitate meetings as required.
- Create, and continue to grow and enhance effective working relationships with the Bid team, the Business Development team, the Implementation SMEs, the Functional Heads, and the external stakeholders.

- Graduate or equivalent, with demonstrable experience of successful delivery of large successful solutions at a Senior level, in a 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) environment, or possibly in in-house logistics
- Full warehouse design ability, with high level ability to use CAD, SketchUp or Class
- Good working knowledge of designing automation into solutions.
- Ability to assess and manage a large-scale design project and determine levels of requirements need to satisfy customer demand.
- Able to lead/support others with design.
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Systemic knowledge of the principles for Warehouse Management Systems
- Stakeholder Management Skills
