**Corporate Finance Broker - Healthcare**

**Our client**

An established, progressive, and growing commercial finance broker, who form part of a larger AIM listed professional services group that has 40 offices throughout the UK and Europe.

Our client has more than 45 years of experience arranging finance for UK businesses in the hospitality, care, childcare, retail, and medical sectors, acting on behalf of a diverse range of borrowers, from private purchasers to national corporates, investors,and developers.

**Purpose of role**

To support corporate clients in sourcing finance to assist with acquisition, development, and investment transactions in the UK (and Europe where appropriate) healthcare sector, with a focus on transactions of >£10m.

**Main duties**
- To maintain up to date market knowledge to enable the identification of appropriate solutions for customers
- To source and present facilities to clients
- To work to fulfil both the company and individual business development plan
- To maintain ongoing contact with prospective clients (both internal and external) to ensure the company is foremost in their minds for any business finance opportunity
- To identify and develop relationships with active lending institutions
- Demonstrable track record in advising, consulting or direct lending to healthcare operators and investors
- Relevant experience from a broking, banking, consultancy, private equity, real estate, operational or advisory background
- Industry profile and therefore with knowledge regarding key players and transactions
- European healthcare sector knowledge desirable but not essential

**General characteristics**
- Willing to work in a highly focused, collaborative team environment
- Experience of business development activities and proactive management of business generation efforts, including origination, client pitches and presentations in order to deliver a continuous pipeline of new business opportunities
- Energetic and self-motivated, with the ability to credibly engage with senior colleagues and clients
- Strong organisational and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and present new business propositions to third parties
