**AWS SecOps Engineer - FinTech - Cloud Security**

I am working with a scale-up FinTech business who are growing their Cloud and DevOps team and recruiting for an experienced AWS Cloud Security Engineer.

You will be working on greenfield projects to define and configure their Cloud Security approach on their new banking and payments platforms.

You will be influential in shaping their approach to Cloud Security and tooling in a rapidly growing start-up environment.

This is a hands-on technical role and you will help to define, build and configure their Cloud Security approach across all their infrastructure platforms. You will use your security expertise to design secure, resilient and highly available cloud infrastructure.This will include intrusion detection, platform security standards, SIEM capabilities and security controls within a regulated financial environment. This role will also require skills and experience in Network Firewalls, Role Based Access Control, SecurityAutomation, Vulnerability management and security policies.

**Essential Skills**:

- Strong experience as a hands on Cloud Security Engineer
- **AWS security tools**: Identify & Access Management: IAM / RBAC (Role based access control) / ABAC Attribute based access control) control), AWS Directory ServiceDetection: AWS Security Hub, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Inspector, AWS Config, AWS CloudTrailInfrastructure Protection: AWS Network Firewall, AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall), AWS Firewall Manager
- Automation tools
- Understand SIEM capabilities

**Desirable experience**
- AWS Security Certified
- ISO 27001 / experience in a regulated environment

**Salary: £70,000 - £85,000**

**Location**:Remote with 2 days a month in the London office.
