**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a visionary AI leader with significant experience operating at c-level within large enterprises.

Our vision is to provide innovation through AI to positively disrupt companies and industries. Therefore the ability to align the practical implementation of AI & ML to an enterprise's real-world objectives and strategy is critical. Our key criteria of success is measurable business performance improvement.

The role will work closely with our Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Technology Officer to both drive the growth of our AI business and has a focus on supporting and developing the data science team through line management, growing the capability within the company, supporting data scientists within squads, and enabling the growth of a high-performing data science team.

**Responsibilities**
- You are able to bridge the gap between business requirements and complex technologies.
- Responsible for identifying, assessing and evaluating opportunities for growth and development within target customers and industries.
- Focus on enabling growth and delivering customer outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle, leading projects and working on complex solutions to provide the right outcomes to customers.
- Use your work as a platform to provide transformational thought leadership externally and internally through both written content (blog posts, white papers) and engaging verbal presentations (at industry events, webinars, lunch and learn sessions, etc.)
- Compile propositions, and proposals, focusing on long-term value and ensuring work is viable and valuable for customers and Mesh-AI.
- Accountability to act as an escalation point for the customer to resolve issues should they arise
- Enable engagements to work towards long-term, transformative goals and high-quality outcomes.
- Hire and develop data science capabilities, lead the community of practice, mentor data science practitioners, and support Mesh-AI colleagues wanting growth in the data science area of expertise.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working in Professional Services Consulting, selling and delivering transformational outcomes to enterprise organisations
- Outstanding domain knowledge in the fields of AI, ML and data science. You understand the mechanics but can also promote the possibilities of the field to those who don't
- You are all about the technology at heart but your head comes with a commercial mindset. You can put the numbers into a business perspective and simplify the complex.
- You are as comfortable getting hands-on working with customers and their problems as you are taking a step back to think about them strategically
- You are a highly collaborative individual, and people can rely on you and your expertise to guide them through complex problems
- You have a solid grounding in enterprise technology - especially how Data, AI & ML can transform a enterprise organisations
- You have substantial experience of organisational growth, development, transformation - preferably in a fast-moving tech company
- Past or current experience in delivery leadership with a focus on enterprise data transformation
