**Salary**: GBP £45,000- £50,000

Groundworks supervisor required for a permanent position in Taunton. The contractor is a well establish groundworks and excavation subcontractor with a large amount of work in the Taunton area spanning over the next 5-6 years. The majority of their work is on housing sites and providing infrastructure

**Abilities of a groundworks supervisor Include**:
- Read drawings and communicate works to team
- Organise workers and ensure program of works is adhered to
- Sit in on and contribute to progress meetings with site management team
- Conducting tool box talks
- Ensuring paperwork is completed and organised
- Quality assurance
- Adhering to health and safety policies for yourself and the team
- Site inductions

**Requirements for the role**
- SSSTS/ SMSTS
- CSCS card
- First aid at work
- Experience of groundworks
- Any plant tickets and associated groundwork's tickets such as confined spaces, asbestos awareness etc would be an advantage but not essential.
- A valid UK driving licence
