My client, a successful Management Consultancy based in Brentwood is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis due to growth.

**Duties**:

- Supervise a small team to ensure all invoices and personnel expenses are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Checking, coding, and inputting supplier invoices onto the Finance system
- Reconciliation of accounts payable accounts and regular review of aged creditor balances
- Reviewing all payments out of multiple accounts
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Prompt resolution of queries with either internal or external stakeholders
- Controlling and updating direct debts/standing order register
- Reviewing Purchase Authority and Approval Limits policy and ensure its compliance
- Assisting with weekly and monthly cheque and BACS payments to supplier's
- Assisting with the processing of staff and partner expenses
- Assist Management Accounts team on an ad hoc basis
- Extensive accounts payable experience
- Experience in a leadership role preferred
- Good IT skills (Microsoft Excel level - Intermediate, Outlook etc)
- Experience in multi-ledger environment preferred
- Knowledge of Navision preferred but not essential
- Understanding of basic accounting and VAT principals
