Our client is a subdivision of a well-established market leading global manufacturer of mechanical assemblies.

They are currently seeking an ambitious Junior Buyer to join their growing team based at their European Head office near Dudley (DY5).

Reporting to the UK Purchasing Manager you will help develop and manage the pan European and Asian supplier base ensuring key performance indicators on quality, cost and delivery are met.

Duties include
- Procurement and general management of end product supply-chains.
- Run MRP manage action messages and place purchase orders on suppliers
- Analyse product data to ensure safety stock levels are maintained
- Analyse open purchase orders to ensure products have been shipped from suppliers
- Anticipate and mitigate any supply-chain disruptions.

The role is office-based hours are M-F 08:00 to 16:00 (35 hours per week)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
