Spectrum IT's client are a large national UK energy provider who are currently undertaking extensive smart metering and customer technology update projects. These projects will ensure that they provide customers with the very best experience and most updatedtechnology possible. **This is an initial 6 month contract and has been deemed inside IR35.**

As the Contract Solution Architect you will have extensive experience in the Energy/Gas/Electricity industry, a strong understanding with smart metering projects and experience with Markets Half Hourly Settlements (MHHS) programmes.

**Project Purpose**

To continue to offer customers a Smart experience by conforming to the latest technology and processes set out by the government.

**Project Objectives**

To maximise the opportunities provided by smart metering by developing and implementing an enduring process for Markets Half Hourly Settlements (MHHS) that delivers benefits for consumers and enables a smart, flexible energy system.

**Key Areas of Focus**
- Define, document technical solutions for Smart Metering and company systems
- Define, document designs in line with the MHHS programme plans
- Providing energy industry and asset expertise where applicable
- Inputting energy industry expertise in areas such as Design, Build, Test, Deploy, Pilot etc.
- Inputting or driving relevant MHHS Programme workshops

**Essential Skills & Experience sought**
- **Expertise in Gas and Electricity industry**:

- **Smart metering experience**:

- **Energy Settlements knowledge or experience would be an advantage**:

- **Knowledge of the MHHS Programme**:

- **Demonstrable skills in Testing large complex IT solutions and the production of high-quality written documentation.**:

- **Strong experience building relationships with stakeholders and managing their expectations
